Life and health reinsurer Pacific Life Re has appointed Jia Yi Tan as its new Claims and Global Chief Underwriting (CUO), based in Singapore.
In her new role, Tan succeeds Andrew Doran, who has been promoted as Chief Executive Officer of UnderwriteMe, the Insurtech subsidiary of Pacific Life Re.
Her appointment underscores the reinsurer’s commitment to investing in top talent, expanding its presence in key markets and delivering solutions that meet the evolving needs of clients.
Tan has nearly two decades of experience across Asia Pacific, Europe and America, including the last five years with Swiss Re.
Her deep insurance expertise, combined with a strong track record of leadership, will further advance Pacific Life Re’s strategic priorities across its global protection markets.
