Richard Keegan, a property reinsurance and retrocession broking expert, has joined specialist reinsurance broker Willis Re following a nine-year tenure at Guy Carpenter.
With 15 years in the industry, Keegan has dedicated his entire career in Bermuda to cultivating robust, trust-based relationships with key buyers and markets.
The executive started at Aon as an Assistant Financial Controller, and was later appointed Broker. He moved to Guy Carpenter in 2016, where his most recent position was Head of Property Retro Bermuda.
In this role, he was responsible for leading the production and placement of retrocession programmes for major reinsurance companies, both in Bermuda and internationally.
Keegan is one of Willis Re’s most recent additions. Lucy Clarke, Willis Re Board Member, commented: “Dickie brings to Willis Re a client focused approach, having built strong relationships across both buyers and markets.
