Howden, the global insurance and reinsurance broking group, has appointed Chris Aries as General Counsel of its US retail broking and advisory business.
In his new role, Aries will serve as the primary legal advisor to Howden’s US business, covering both specialty and retail insurance lines.
He joins the senior leadership team, and as a part of that, he will help guide business strategy, governance, and operational planning while building a high-impact legal presence for the organisation.
Aries has over two decades of experience in the sector, bringing extensive expertise in guiding multinational organisations through major growth across strategic acquisitions, large-scale integrations, and platform expansion.
He is recognised for translating complex regulatory and operational demands into practical solutions and spotting pressure points early to maintain momentum and ensure smooth execution.
