Howden US appoints Elizabeth Neumann as EVP, Financial Lines Claims Leader

Howden, the global insurance and reinsurance broking group, has announced the appointment of Elizabeth Neumann as Executive Vice President (EVP), Financial Lines Claims Leader.

HowdenBased in New York, Neumann will form part of the US Financial Lines management team, led by Ron Borys, who was appointed Howden US’ Head of Financial Lines Group in October 2025.

Together, Neumann and Borys will continue to build out a national Financial Lines practice as Howden US expands its specialty lines business.

Neumann joins Howden from CAC Specialty, where she spent the past two years as US Financial Lines Legal & Claims Practice Leader, responsible for claims operations, client advocacy, and loss recovery.

Prior to that, she spent eight years at AXIS, most recently serving as Head of Professional Liability Claims, leading nearly 50 claims professionals across the US and Canada.

Earlier in her career, Neumann spent a decade at CNA Insurance, most recently as Assistant Vice President, Financial Institutions and Technology Claims.

Aon’s Uri Dallal was also recently appointed EVP, Financial Lines for Howden’s recently launched US retail offering, where he will be part of the US Financial Lines management team.
