Global specialty insurer and reinsurer Ascot Group has announced the appointment of Stephen O’Flynn as Senior Vice President, Underwriter on the Ascot Re Casualty Treaty team in Bermuda.
In this role, O’Flynn will report to Sean Ramlal, Head of Casualty and Professional Underwriting at Ascot Re.
O’Flynn brings 30 years of industry experience. He joins Ascot from Ariel Re, part of Argo Group, where he served as Head of Non-Property Treaty.
Previously, he was EVP & Head of Bermuda Underwriting at Tokio Millennium Re, and also held roles at Allied World Reinsurance Company and Gen Re.
Ramlal commented, “We are excited for Steve to join Ascot Re as Senior Vice President, Casualty Treaty. With three decades of industry experience and an extensive network of market relationships, his deep expertise across casualty and professional lines significantly enhances the strength and depth of our underwriting team.”
