Global reinsurance broker Gallagher Re has announced the appointment of Steven Housse as Facultative Reinsurance Leader for North America, effective 12th March 2026.<\/p>\n

\"StevenIn his new role, Housse will lead the company\u2019s facultative strategy across North America and Canada, focusing on individual risks and facultative facilities across property & casualty and specialty lines.<\/p>\n

He brings more than two decades of experience in the London and US markets, with a strong track record in facultative placements, client engagement, and market development.<\/p>\n

Housse joins Gallagher Re from BMS Group, where he served as Managing Director and Facultative Practice Lead. Prior to that, he was Managing Director and Head of US Property Facultative at Guy Carpenter.<\/p>\n

Earlier in his career, he held property broker roles at Marsh, Decus Insurance Brokers Limited, and Miller Insurance Services LLP.<\/p>\n
