Lee Gammon has been promoted to the newly created position of Head of Marine & Aviation of AXIS Global Markets, the global insurance and reinsurance operations of AXIS Capital, effective January 1, 2026.<\/p>\n

\"axis-capital-logo\"Gammon has been with the company since 2010, when he joined Novae as a Marine Liability underwriter.<\/p>\n

He became Head of Marine Liability in 2018 following the AXIS acquisition of Novae and has additionally led the company\u2019s underwriting of Delegated Marine Hull and Marine War since 2019.<\/p>\n

Prior to Axis and Vovae, Gammon served as Broker Casualty at Miller Insurance Services, an independent international specialist re\/insurance broker.<\/p>\n

The executive will continue to report to John Owen, Head of Specialty, Global Markets, who commented: \u201cLee is an excellent leader and highly respected underwriter.<\/p>\n
