Markel International has announced the appointment of Weng Joe Wong as Professional Financial Risks & Cyber Underwriter.<\/p>\n

\"MarkelIn his new role, Wong will help drive Markel\u2019s Asia underwriting strategy, enhance risk selection, and strengthen client engagement.<\/p>\n

Based in the company\u2019s Singapore office, he will report to Olga Wong, Professional Financial Risks & Cyber Senior Underwriter at Markel International Singapore.<\/p>\n

Wong brings 20 years of industry experience, including extensive expertise in financial lines underwriting.<\/p>\n

He rejoins Markel after previously serving as Underwriter, Professional and Financial Risks \u2013 South East Asia, from May 2021 to December 2023.<\/p>\n

Most recently, he was Facultative Casualty Underwriter at Swiss Re. Earlier in his career, he held senior underwriting roles at DUAL Asia, Allied World, and Chubb.<\/p>\n
