Lloyd’s global insurer and reinsurer MS Amlin has announced the appointment of Gisela Nilsson as Political Violence Senior Underwriter.<\/p>\n

Nilsson brings over 15 years of specialist underwriting experience. She joins from Talbot Underwriting, where she spent the past five years, most recently serving as Political Violence Class Underwriter. In that role, she led a team of underwriters and introduced process improvements to enhance underwriting efficiency.<\/p>\n
Prior to that, Nilsson spent nearly a decade at Hiscox in various underwriting roles. During her tenure, she helped establish and develop the Aviation portfolio before transitioning to the Terrorism & Political Violence team, where she played a key role in the expansion of digital underwriting.<\/p>\n
