Guy Carpenter, the reinsurance broking arm of Marsh McLennan, has appointed Mark Maritzen as Senior Client Executive, Damini Mago as North American Head of Cyber ILS, and Martha Jacobs as Healthcare Segment Leader and Branch Manager.
Based in New York, Maritzen will serve as a Senior Client Executive for the C-suite of North America’s premier clients. He brings more than 25 years of industry experience, with deep expertise in reinsurance broking.
Maritzen joins Guy Carpenter from Everest, where he served as Global Chief Underwriting Officer. Prior to that, he held senior leadership roles at Berkshire Hathaway, AIG, Sompo, and Tokio Marine Global.
He has previously been part of Marsh McLennan, having worked at both Marsh and Guy Carpenter in Germany, Switzerland, and New York between 2001 and 2011. He began his career at Sedgwick as an Assistant Vice President.
Also based in New York, Mago will play a key role in advancing the Cyber ILS market by providing innovative capital market solutions tailored to the needs of Guy Carpenter’s cyber insurance clients.
She brings extensive experience in measuring and managing cyber risk, as well as in developing capital solutions within the re/insurance industry.
She joins after spending over six years at RMS (acquired by Moody’s), most recently serving as Associate Director, Cyber. Before that, she was a Data Scientist, eMeter’s Analytics at Siemens.
Based in Minneapolis, MN, industry veteran Jacobs will focus on delivering innovative, data-driven solutions to meet the evolving needs of healthcare writers across the market.
With nearly 35 years of industry experience, she brings significant expertise in the healthcare space and will help expand Guy Carpenter’s healthcare offerings.
She joins after 20 years at Aon, most recently serving as National Health Care Practice Leader. Prior to that, she served as a broker at HRH and also spent 11 years at Chubb as Regional Manager.
