Peter Clarke to succeed Colin Keogh as Hiscox Chair

International specialist insurer Hiscox has announced the appointment of Peter Clarke as the Group’s new Chair designate, subject to regulatory approval.

Hiscox logoClarke is set to take over the Board as Chair designate on June 1, 2025, succeeding Colin Keogh as Chair from July 1, 2025.

The executive brings extensive experience from FTSE-listed financial services, having spent much of his Executive career in banking and investment management.

He also brings board-level experience as a Non-Executive Director for companies such as Axa Investment Managers SA, Sainsbury’s Bank Plc, and most recently as Chair of Lancashire Insurance Holdings Ltd.

Commenting on the appointment, Aki Hussain, Hiscox Group CEO, said: “Peter’s significant expertise in financial services, his experience of growing businesses in the US, as well as his deep understanding of the big-ticket insurance market make him a great addition to the Board.
