Atrium, a specialty insurer at Lloyd’s, has promoted Adam Payne to the role of Deputy Head of Digital Underwriting.
In this position, he will work in close partnership with Simon Lewis, Head of Digital Underwriting, to enhance Atrium’s digital infrastructure and improve efficiency for brokers and clients alike.
Payne will take the lead in driving digital underwriting across the organisation, with particular emphasis on expanding AUGold—Atrium’s in-house quote-and-bind platform that supports specialty lines across multiple international markets.
AUGold has experienced significant growth, most recently with the successful implementation of a full lifecycle API for agency partners and the broadening of its product portfolio.
Atrium’s digital evolution has been a long-term focus, combining external engagement with internal innovation. Payne has played a key role externally, mentoring at both the Lloyd’s Lab and Lloyd’s Product Launchpad, while also contributing internally through Atrium Innovate, a program designed to harness internal talent to develop new digital products and solutions.
